SYML - June 30th - 5pm - Free & All-Ages

The annual Seattle Record Store Crawl may be sold out, but all are welcome to a special RSC-sponsored performance by Nettwerk recording artist SYML, who will play an acoustic set at Easy Street June 30th at 5pm! Brian Fennell is a student of simplicity. As SYML (pronounced “simmel”), which translates to “simple” in Welsh, Fennell writes emotive ambient pop songs that capture the ethos of his musical persona. With delicate piano, swells of strings and Fennell’s sterling vocals, the songs that comprise his debut EPs Hurt For Me and In My Body, embody the relinquishing of all emotions, a cathartic release laid bare. Free & all-ages!

Snuff Redux - July 6th - 7pm - Free & All-Ages

We ran into our trusted friend & tastemaker Marco Collins recently, and he raved about this local band called Snuff Redux, so when the opportunity came up to do an in-store with them, we jumped! The band has a new album called Denim American, which is currently getting good spins on KEXP. Marco says it reminds him of the Replacements and Ryan Adams at times, while others hear shades of the Strokes and Arctic Monkeys. We'll just say it's damn good, and announce that Snuff Redux will be live at Easy Street on the 6th of July at 7pm. Free & all-ages!

Sandrider - July 20th - 7pm - Free & All-Ages

On their 3rd full length album, Seattle’s Sandrider continues to staunchly refuse to do anything other than be the fiercest, grittiest, riff-driven rock band possible. Armada is an immaculately rendered documentation of the fury and fortitude of Sandrider, and Seattle’s stalwart brutal rock label Good to Die will release the Matt Bayles (Mastodon, ISIS, The Sword) engineered album to the masses on July 20th! Join us for a street date in-store with the mighty Sandrider!
