Whatdja Get, Krist Novoselic?
POSTED BY Rod ON Mon Jul 26, 12:02 PM
Every so often, ex-Nirvana fella Krist Novoselic ambles into our store to check out the wax, some of which he spins on his bi-weekly radio show (under the name "DJ K-NOw") on Astoria station KMUN. Last week, we managed to detain him long enough to scribble down his purchases, all on vinyl. Please note that some of Krist's purchases were the last copies we had in stock; in which case we've linked to the CD versions, if available.

Tape & Bill Wells - Fugue
Orb - Vol. 3 - Baghdad Batteries: Orbsessions (link to CD version)

I wonder if he bought the Vampire Weekend album because of an actual interest in the band or due to the recent legal hype surrounding them. A very intriguing list, nonetheless!

It’d be great to run into him at Easy Street someday. A conversation about vinyl with Krist would be a lot of fun.
