At last ... Brandi is coming to Queen Anne this Friday at 7 pm for her long-awaited in-store performance! It's free and all-ages! The Seattle Weekly calls her "arguably the biggest music star in the country who hails from Seattle." And that could very well be the case - by all accounts her recent sold-out show at the Paramount was a knockout, as she did everything from sing sans microphone on an unplugged "Dying Day" to covering Johnny Cash, Beatles and Tears for Fears songs during the encore, before wrapping it all up with metal-inspired finale, complete with the appropriate fog.

It's no secret that we here at ESR are sweet on Brandi  - after all, she is one of only two artists in the WORLD with an album titled Live at Easy Street (great holiday gift idea, by the way). Her latest album, Give Up the Ghost, is nothing but golden, and sure to be one of the top contenders for album of the year. 

So come on down to the store on Friday and give a warm, intimate hometown welcome to Brandi!
